that valve is nice, the same valve with a mounting bracket was used in the m715 jeeps AND old corvettes. get it military, it is 25 bucks, get it from a corvette guy, its over 150!!!

I used one in my m37, it attaches to the passenger side inner fender and works great.
with the attached mount, the cable works better.

i wouldn't trust it as the only way to stop coolant though. i was more comfortable having valves AND the control.
