Here in California, at anything more than a dusting of snow, they require you to put on chains. It's just the Highway Patrol's way of slowing everybody down and discouraging looky-loos who don't have chains.
Battling temperatures down into the mid-70's today. But, we will survive. Californian's are a hardy people.
