Well good new is the shims for the tease are almost identical to that of which a dana rearend uses. I found this out when i visited my machinist for some more shims. (Ill find out which model) and how i had some new shims for my t-case. Using the new shims, grease and socket for fowl (almost exact same size) i drove the idler pin through. It went though perfectly...problem was i need more shims. I gently drove it back out. The shims still looked good so i added some and and from then on i could never get the pin to drive through smooth again. I spent like four hours aligning the shims and never got it. Obviously they were damaged but this shouldn't be this hard. I ordered some from Quad 4X4 like y'all suggested should be here tuesday. I may just get my machinist to help me because evidently I'm doing something wrong. I read the manual and everything. Also my shaft it taking like 10 med to thin shims which seems strange. I figure out how many its going to need but at that point it was to late i never could get them to align again. Im also gunna pull some from the t-cases i acquired yesterday. Its frustrating I'm ready to check this one off my list.
