I think adding to the lower section would not look right. the factory did not have grill below that point except on non winch trucks. the winch is far enough away that shoyuld never have a mishap. i have used my winches countless times since the 80s without any radiator issues.
sometimes I see winches added to WCs and PWs and the non winch grill still in place. never looks right to me. but maybe I am the only one who notices. ;/)
