I bake anything that will fit in the oven. It does wonders for hardening the paint quickly. Above 300 or so, I find that it tends to dull glossy paints somewhat, while 250 doesn't get it has hard as higher temps. Somewhere in that range is pretty good. I've not tried above 350 deg.

I do much longer time than you did. 30 minutes isn't much. I'll usually bake for several hours or overnight, then turn off the oven and let the parts cool in it.

For things that are too big to fit in an oven, the next best is to set them out in full sun in the hottest place you can find (no wind, up against a south-facing brick wall, etc) in the summer. I suspect that gets the temperature up to 200 or so, and the UV from the sunlight also helps harden the paint.
