No, I don't have a pi-tape, I was doing it the old fashion way (algebra). In the end I don't know the true dimensions, only the difference between the two circumferences, from which you can get the differences in radii. I have more confidence in my measurement of the ring gap then my bore measurement and piston-to-wall gap (which I can't find the thread that is in!).
The light of hope which I am following is that it did run well (if you ignore the smoke and dropping OP) at the speeds I was operating it at before I busted the bearing cap.
