BUT, the taper is small, BUT the bore is oversize. The pistons will bounce around ion there, making noises and preventing a good seal by the rings. The slapping will also beat the pistons to a short life.
BUT, pistons cost $$$, and the re-ring will sure help with oil consumption and compression. .
