I was ready to buy the IR when I saw Joe's post however I am still a little concerned about battery replacement. I have a 12 year old milwaukee drill and I have replaced the batteries twice but the drill is still everything I need so being able to replace the batteries is a big concern of mine. I feel pretty confidant that Milwaukee or DeWalt will be around for batteries, I dont see IR going away but I can see them leaving the battery market. The IR specs just blow away the other but it sounds like performance isn't really that big of deal and that the 300-350 ft-lbs is probably adequate. If I can find a Dewalt at Costco for around $200 with batteries I think I would definately go that way.
