Have to disagree on most counts Marty, I just had a set of sta super lugs delivered to my door for 1163.00, total!! made in the usa to boot. just took off a set of 1100x16 michilin xls, awful tires, vibrate, woundn't balance, wore in some really strange patterns, and in general was not a very good choice on my part five years ago. the sta's bump for a mile or two but balanced up fine, ride better, steer better, and are wayyyyy better in the snow than the xls ever were. they are a little better than 36 inches tall, which is plenty good enough to get on down the road on.
