Manny, what is the goal?? higher volimetric efficancy? gained by longer spark duration? or to move the spark to a better location within the combustion chamber? the location of the plug now is in a pretty good spot between the valves and the top of the piston, over the top of the valves and the plug is getting washed down with raw gas every intake stroke(fouls quick) over the top of the piston and it will leave unburned gas in the valve area on the firing stroke. if on the other hand the goal is efficincy, a dual point distribitor will increase the spark duration and make a better burn, thus more horsepower and better economy. does any of this make any sense to any body besides me??? Dave.
