Wow, that reminds me of one we responded to. Didn't get called out but saw it happen. Full sized Dodge 4x4 was hit by a DWO in the wrong lane. The truck ended up on it's side with the entire rear axle ripped off. The old folks in the Buick were okay considering the grill was in the firewall.
The powder was still in the air from the air bags when I approached the Buick and the old lady in the drivers seat came to and tried to start the engine saying she had better get it out of the way. I was surprised the starter tried to do something.
The worst thing on the driver of the Dodge truck was I noticed when he came out of the drivers window his cowboy hat was on sideways.
