if you get the right stuff it isn't bad. I had a window I put in and didn't know there were different types, and it made a mess and didn't want to clean up at all!! I don't know what the "right" type is,I just told my local shop what I needed and got different, but a glass shop that does installs on older cars, or maybe a hotrod shop?? should be able to tell ya.
