Disassm engine due to a light knock. #6 rod bearing upper half fatigued- no other issues (last owner must have lugged or idled too much) . Crank will be ok. When cleaning up cyl walls with a bead hone, found what I believe to be a crack in #1 cyl running from the notch at the bottom of the cyl to the top, adjacent to the exhaust valve. Think I,m looking at pulling it and sleeving at this point. My question is, I did not have any overheat or coolant issues at all. Cylinder shows no sign of coolant in it, oil had no coolant in it. Is this a common spot for a crack in a T137? Is there no coolant at that spot? Crack seems worse at the bottom, can almost catch a fingernail in it.
