Old School is Great and I agree, But in today's shop with labor cost so high it would be to expensive and or you would lose money and go broke. Just today we fixed a driver seat track on a 1986 Ford Crown Vic. Part was not available so we took the seat out and my POP made a new bracket. Spent 3 hours on it and charged my customer a hour. It was a great fix and some folks would say you should have charged 3 hours. But thats old school fix it right for the customer and send him on his way. Ronny Klinger was very happy. O did I tell you I pay for all my guys health insurance. Thats smart, ouch. Have fun. Bill.
