Take the bearing cap to a machine shop (or better yet, two or three) and tell them what happened. Ask them what they can do to fix the problem (if they can) and how much it would cost. Then, you will have a basis for making a decision.

I have a machine shop near me run by an old guy who sits around most of the day smoking cigarettes and talking with his friends. It wouldn't surprise me if he had some old 230 parts lying around. He was working on them when they were new.
