You could always give it a try and see if they work, but I doubt it. Maybe you'd have to put the air into the vacuum outlet. If normal vacuum is somewhere around 10 psi, compared to 100 psi for an air compressor, so the pressure would have to be reduced down a lot.
But if you don't care about looks, maybe a pair of air wiper motors off some old heavy truck would do the job.
