A few years ago when I was looking at different wiper solutions, I received a sample of this type system. You can search the archives for the unfavorable report. Problems in keeping the .375" aluminum drive tube, wiper motor getting out of sync requiring removal to re-sync etc. Do a search on Wipers for a post I made a few years ago. Sorry I cant be more specific on the date.
Chris Case designed and made a like system that he reported on and had pictures. Chris got the bugs out and it worked well. Hopefully Chris will read and post.
