Actually the build up is mounted to the frames by 8 inch longs springs, think the springs on a PW cab mount, but the build up uses four. It allows the build up to move independently of the chassis. And the cab has a rear mounted air bag with two shocks on either side. It allows the cab to move independently of everything also. But it affords a false sense of security. The air bag wants to keep the cab level, so on a side hill, the cab tries to stay level, while the rest of the engine is tilting. When the cab can go no farther to stay level and reaches its tilt point, HANG ON
