Since your engines are reman the tags on your gear cases are likely CPL numbers that are similar to your engines original build but there is a 99% chance they are from another engine. The core engines come into the reman facility inspected and disassembled. What is serviceable is used, what is not serviceable is scrapped. In this process the gear cases are removed from the blocks and in mass quantities cleaned, inspected, and repaired as needed. This process for aluminum parts is done separately from the blocks, cranks, IP, rods, et. The parts are then eventually brought to an assembly area where they get reassembled to a block as a reman assembly but likely not the same block they came off of. The numbers stamped on your blocks are likely reman job numbers which are meaningless to Cummins, or in rare cases I have seen the respective CPL number stamped as well but like I explained on reman engines the CPL on the case is not likely the original CPL number that came from Cummins.
