I understandthe theory and am ASE certified in brakes. but in Lockheed brakes it is just a theory for the most part. LIke I said I will concede that some slight self energizing happens but unnoticable in performance. I am not alone in this opinion of Lockheed brakes. Servo action is just self energizing to the extreme becuase the shoes are not fixed allowing one shoe to puash the other as well as bind up or "self energize" in the drum. many professional descriptions describe servo brakes as self energizing. synonymous terms
