Save your ashes in a metal bucket and use them on your icy driveways to improve traction. I know a lot of you will know this already, but it's free, and it works. Also handy in case you get stuck in your 2 wd (Heaven forbid) car. Just be sure the bucket is fireproof, or you might not have a car or a garage the next morning.
