This "what is a POWER WAGON?" discussion comes around regularly. The comments about the WDX through WM300 still shows that folks are unclear on the three beds, two cabs, two motors, different transmissions and transfer cases, and other details that make those models different. They don't know that my grandson's Dodge WC has nothing to do with my WC52 or any other four-wheel-drive Dodge.

For 8 years, there have been similar discussions about about the "new" POWER WAGON.

John, you are right. You are also one of only a few who seems to know that they do have different frames. The correct part number for the POWER WAGON frame is 52121299AF, NOT 52021558AK. Similarly, the longer frame on the "second generation", "new" POWER WAGON is unique.

Since that has come up again, I guess I need to update the 2005 POWER WAGON page on my Kempner POWER WAGON Museum web site.

By the way, the part number for the frame on my '47 WDX is 1271 235. The cross members are separate and have individual part numbers.
