Thanks, Tom. The float is actually for my '66 F350. It has a brass float which I have tried to solder the leaks in at least 5 times. I found an old cork float, but it's damaged and I thought I would just try to get a new one. My Ford dealer has unfortunately evolved into a Home Depot for cars. :( I will be plowing snow with the Ford, with a 428 FE block, so I will want to know what's going on in the fuel tank. Ha Ha
