What we have to go on.
Fairly specific location. I wouldnt put it past the magazine to mis quote the street name. Small area to search.
Family with means had a weekend house and nice car. No shack here. House may be larger than single family spread. Picture of house has interesting roof line that might show up in higher res air photo. Not enough techies in the area to pursuade google to update imagery. Abandoned house? Probably lots of trees. Also retreat house is likely off the main road more than a modern house. Fancy weekend place would be near a fancy land feature. Lake, horse riding trails, on a hill for view, on the river? Also maybe had a loop or circular driveway at some point?
Detached small garage near but not as near as modern garage. Maybe old carriage house with stable near?Garage has lots of trees around it. From air roof is brown like dirt. No obvious road to garage.
Look for a medium to large main house near lake or river. Has small outbuildings. No visible or recently worn roads. Lots of small trees. Garage blends in with earth and trees. House likely not next to road. Another landscape image and we might have it.
