This is so unbelievable but it happened today. I had to order new batteries for my M 35 and didn't pick them up for a week until I could get up to the mountain and get the cores.
We are 40 miles out and my wife was in town shopping and got the batteries.

After installing and bolting down there was no power, so I checked everything again and tried a test light-- nothing. I thought the test light must have died and tried it on another truck and it worked.
Opened a cell cap and it was bone dry!The boneheads forgot to ad the electrolyte!but wait it gets worse.

I called the store and went up the food chain to the manager who claimed he didn't know acid had to be added. While he was trying to find out what he should do I contacted my farmer who happened to be in town and asked him to get the acid and get more than they recommend because they will be wrong. By know I was thinking we had it going the right direction until he showed up with a couple gallons of distilled water and a story about the acid already being in there. I called the store and they assured me that they were right and I responded with when the water doesn't work you won't want to see me.

Well you guessed it, what a pack of morons, so tomorrow I get to take the batteries in and trade them for some other ones that have acid and will be charged at six amps for six hours he said maybe sometime in the early afternoon. All to run an impact wrench of of the truck air compressor.

After driving 160 miles he offered to give me a discount of 40.00.

Oh yeah my farmer had to go to a store and buy the distilled water!!
