Called Superwinch today re my hubs

I called Superwinch today to inquire about the "Lifetime Warrantee" I knew they had discontinued the model for the Power Wagons but was hoping they had kept some sets aside for replacements. Ha Ha Ha Ha, silly me. The guy in Customer Service flat out told me I was out of luck. I asked him what good a lifetime warrantee was if they were not going to honor it and he just said "nothing I can do for you" Makes me really want to run right out and buy some of their other products.
The AVM lockouts look like clones of the Superwinch hubs, anyone have any experience with them? I have a set of the hub protectors, so if I want to keep using them I am limited on what brands I can use.
