That would have to be first port of call, then I would try an injector cleaner you add to the fuel. My daughters car (Hyundai) displayed similar problems and we were driving interstate the next day. I added the injector cleaner before we left and when we filled up again added the rest (small tank/ratio had to be somewhere near it). After the next fill-up the miss was gone and car went better than it ever had. Not saying it will work for you, but did for us - then maybe it was the non stop running for a couple thousand miles in a few days that helped?? Don't know for sure, but Subaru always add injector cleaner at service time.
