We had a colony of bats near the house when we bought it. I enjoyed warm evenings on the porch. They flew through the area and cleaned out all the flying insects. A number of years ago they disappeared. I've been spending oodles on skeeter repellant and candles since then. If you can relocate them, do so. When they go away, you will notice the difference.
