Your Power Wagon was built during the fins and chrome era, where style and fashion did play heavily into design.
No doubt that the Power Giant style shared many similarities with the other brands (Ford&Chevs) of the same 57-60 years, they were all beautiful trucks. The years following the fins and chrome era did away with alot of the glitz.
It was the original Flat Fender PW that was truly not based on fashion and style, but functionality over form.
I have always liked the Power Giants over all other PWs because of their distinctiveness as compared to a Flat Fender.
