I dont know how the old trucks are but my 71 Charger had the charcoal canister vapor return deal on it and back by the fuel tank it had 3 small fuel line hoses that were cracked. When the tank was full it would slosh it would leak some fuel out back there so its a good idea to check all the rubber hoses everywhere.
