Heat checks on flywheel

I resurfaced my 318 flywheel. A series of very tiny heat checks appeared. They are just inboard from center. All are well under an inch and are hairline, and do not appear to be deep. There are no heat checks near the outer edge, nor even in the middle of the surface.

In my racing days, I'd junk a flywheel like this. However, am told by a couple of shops that for non-racing use that these heat checks are not serious enough and to go ahead and run it.

Application is a pretty much stock 318 going in my M37. I don't anticipate exceeding 3500 rpm, and cruise at 55 mph will be 3200 rpm.

Opinions?
