Gentlemen:
Let me suggest you check a couple of things before you decide how to proceed with any restoration project:
1.) Check the contents of the various products that have been mentioned (IF, the manufacturer has the kahunas to even disclose them). See what the percentages of solids and VOC's are! This will help you determine just how much actual "paint" your hard earned dollar is actually purchasing.
2.) See if any of them disclose a salt spray cabinet test result! This is an old industry wide standard test procedure that helps tell something about the ability of products to withstand the elements.
3.) If Metalman and some others here on your forum don't offer their ZR experiences, go to Len Stuart's autobodystore.com, and pose your questions about Zero Rust there on its very active bulletin board. Another forum is
Kevin Tetz' paintucation.com for your looksee.
Then, compare your findings with what you will find on our website about ZR's ease of use (aerosol or bulk), effectiveness, No Isocyantes or Lead and 2000+ hour salt spray cabinet test results.
I think you will find the comparison's very interesting.
Hope this helps.
