well roto molding is a process of manufacture
where granulated polyethine and other plastick are loaded into a steel or aloy mold
the hole thing is heated in an oven then its pulled out while still hot and rotated on a macheine that looks kinda like two big transaxles one mouted to the other . anyway
it spins it all over the place and the powered plastic roles arond on all the surraces in the mold. you end up with a plastick part that is hollow and with no hole , utill thay cut it in it for the filler cap or whatever
i dont realy know much about crosslinked polymers but
if you look at a polymer under a microscope
you would see that thay shaped like little rods a bit twisted some how chemickly thay
get the fibers to wind around one another
as the polymer solidifys
crosslinked plastcks have a memory
if you puch a hole in it the plastick trys to go back to its origonal form and will close up around a puncture that why thay use it on dragsters
any way forgive my shity spelling
hope that helps
