First of all,
Joe, let me know if I am speaking out of turn here.
Heres the way I see it. Joe is allowed only so much disk space and network traffic (measured in megabytes) per month. Anything over that amount results in a surcharge per megabyte. Since downloading pictures take up a LOT more network resources than words, it makes sense to require people to post their pictures on other sites and reference (point) the message at the appropriate picture. This is more hassle for the average poster who just wants to attach the picture to their posting like they were sending to a friend.
Bottom line, to post pictures
1. Go to www.photopoint.com
2. Follow instructions to create a free album.
3. Follow instruction to post your pictures to the album
4. Go to your picture and you will see a little link under the picture for displaying the proper address of the picture.
5. Copy that url and go to this forum.
6. Paste this url in the box at the bottom of your message that says "Optional Image Link".
7. Click on Post Message and it should work.
