My 62 WM300 had a beat pressboard box that I replaced with one from Roberts Motor Parts. It's plenty sturdy for hard off-road use, and the stuff inside doesn't bang/get banged around like it might with a steel box. I don't like to be distracted by extraneous noise while driving my Power Wagon! Greg
