3k/mi oil & filter more important than oil brand

my mr2 has over 300k miles 90% Freeway
mostly 9hr runs @ freeway speeds
sf to las vegas thru the desert the last 150miles
always use union 20w50 (on draft at dealership) factory oil specs
always use only FACTORY oil Filters
original engine
