like your guidelines very clear
but if i may add a bit from my years in the automotive businees
KEEP the Original Box
KEEP it Clean & pristine
OPEN it carefully
some business have a NO RETURN if not in the
original clean box
they cannot return it to their supplier if it
is out of the original box
be prepared to pay a restocking charge if you
ordered the wrong item
dont expect anyone to take back an electrical
part if the box has been opened
and as you said
write it down - if it is not in writting
IT NEVER HAPPENED
