There is actually quite a bit of mechanical difference between the 1958 and 1959 Power Giants.
In 1959, the 315 was replaced by the 318 Wide Block, and the bell housing and crossmember is different. The 1959 has a different spring shackle design (100s, 200s). 1959 has hanging pedals and a hydraulic clutch.
The body:
Grill
Front fenders are slighlty different, 1959 W100, W200s have the longer mud flap (like the W300s).
Diff emblems and ornamentation
Both 58 and 59s are cool vehicles.
