Well, folks, for all of you who have read from me before, I've been looking for a later 70s PW for a toy and summer project. Well, I guess I found mine. Not 100% sure on it yet, but the price is right, the truck is good, and it runs great. The only question is this...the roof and hood are covered with rust...right through the paint. How do I get all that off? I know that I have to sand it all away and stuff, but is there anything anyone can recommend?? I don't know too much about body work or anything, but will sanding the rust off, priming, then painting work??? I know it might not be pretty, but what kind of problems might I run into?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
