PTO Rebuild

I'm rebuilding my PTO and have found that none of the repair manuals that I have cover the PTO. It all went back together fine, but I'm looking for help on setting the tension on the two bearings on the drive shaft. I assume it's set by using 1 or more gaskets one each side(my rebuild kit came with 4 gaskets), but I don't have any specs. Any help would be appreciated.
