Well, in researching this question on the H.A.M.B., apparently there is no such thing as a 6v or 12v sender.

"Fuel gauge senders are not voltage sensitive - no such thing as 6v or 12v senders. They just provide resistance to ground."

The difference is in the gauge.

Sound right? Anyone dispute this?
