Hello,

I purchased a 52 B4 PW a year or so ago. It's a former Navy Department truck from Long Beach Naval Ship Yard. I'm conducting a full restoration and now working on the cab seam. The original seam trim was completely deteriorated and it came out in pieces. After removing the rotted trim I noticed the cab roof and windshield surround move a little bit when pressing on them. Does any have a proper repair procedure. I was thinking of plug welding a 3/8" wide steel strap butted up against the windshield surround. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
