I know this may sound redundant but the most important first step in my opinion is to COMPLETELY REMOVE THE VALVE STEM. Making sure all air is out of the tire. Safety will insure you are able to enjoy your truck for many years to come. If you are not comfortable doing it yourself take it to a professional truck tire shop.
