Steve: Lets assume the ignition was done properly. Bob and Rick gave you the clue you needed I think, and a while back you asked about the plug on the intake manifold. What did you do with the port that goes to the PVC? Are you certain you don't have a vacuum leak? If you are starving for gas, it could be a fuel issue, but i could also be too much air, or a vacuum leak. Does it get better when you pull the choke out (causing it to richen up) When I got my truck one of the carb studs was too long, and it hit the bottom of the carb, preventing the carb from sealing right.
