That Bugatti Type 57S found in the London garage(link below). That was in papers all over the world because it was unearthed and that gave the story a hook, but given the demand for a one of 17 Bugatti do you think taking it to a show first would have diminished the auction value that much?

Lots of the high dollar cars that come up for auction are well known with pictures all over the internet and in some cases detailed histories of the car and what it looked like over the years a click away. Think of Ferrari race cars. Everyone into those knows about the major crashes and the poor storage in the early 70s. The cars are still worth millions.
