I list the W300s as the most valuable, but in practice a nice 1958 W200 is likely to bring nearly the same money.

Despite the cool factor of a W300 I've just seen too many sell cheap or fail to sell at low prices. I've seen W200s in similar condition sell at the same or higher price points. Fully restored W300s most likely demand a premium, but nobody seems to want to sell the ones they've restored.

My comparison may be a little off as most W200s have beds and most W300s are cab chassis. But I figure those the same as they are the most common configuration. A W300 with the original 9' bed is a rare animal.

Thoughts?

I'm only basing this on trucks I see on eBay or Craig's List. I'm sure there are higher priced private sales I don't know about.

Eric
