Are there any issues running a high amp alternator in a Power Giant?

My alternator wasn't charging, so I brought it down to have it tested. The good news is that the alternator is OK. The test strip shows its rated for 114 amps. I'm guessing the fire department that had the truck before me, might have wanted something bigger than stock.
