that is a dangerous exhasut system. for decades all manufacturers routed the tail pipes out the side on ALL station wagon type bodies nad picks becasue exhaust fumes swirl up in back and go into the cabin if the seals arent perfect. many passengers died from this over the years from bad or misrouted pipes. I would never trust even a restored carryall rear hatch system to keep the fumes out.
on the copy side of things I would be annoyed I think.
