Early or late M37 has the same bolt pattern. When I was restoring my M37, I sourced a new style tranny, and completely rebuilt it. After some issues arose, I pulled it out and put the original 52 tranny back in. Got the issues sorted out (Thanks John S!) and swapped it back in.
