I guess as diesels become more mainstream in passenger vehicles, and accepted by the general public, we will see more companies offering diesels in the USA. The visions of smelly, smokey buses and trucks are being replaced by luxury brands like Audi, BMW, Benz etc. running diesels. Often I see the Audi commercial where panic ensues when a woman is pumping diesel in her car. Even Dodge is putting a diesel in their 1500 this year.
I wonder why Toyota wouldn't use their own diesel? Emissions?
